Not letting other things discourage me-Positive Thinking

My Milestone, My Health, CoolCrochet.Etsy, Pattern Error, What's Next and  What Do you Want?

I have met a milestone- not in my craft but in my personal journey to better health.
I got a new job (Yeah!) and treated myself to a gym membership (Yeah!YEAH!). It has been about 4 weeks now. I don't worry about who is there or what other people see. The staff is nice and I'm comfortable there. I focus on what I want the outcome of my visit there to be. Every week I try one new thing -it keeps it interesting. No, I haven't lost anymore weight. In fact,  I have hit a wall - the same wall I've been bumping into since October- but I am confident that a weight loss is soon to come! I have made changes to my diet that I feel are helping me along. Every time I try something new -be diet or exercise- I do it for 3-4 weeks. That is about how long my body takes to react, lose weight or reject whatever it is I'm doing.

So my Milestone...I have been able to run 2 miles continuously without stopping for more than a quick check to my heart rate monitor. I think it's easier to not stop, but I'm too interested in how many calories I'm burning. (I used to only be able to walk & run for a mile or so).
I am also getting to know my body in a new way. I have always listened to my body, but these days it feels like more of a two way conversation-
Like I have made a new friend and not living with my arch enemy anymore!

As far as Crochet goes, I have been in Physical Therapy for about seven weeks now and no relief in sight. My entire arms seems to suffer whenever my Ulnar Nerve is inflamed.
I am still trying to provide handmade gifts and I still have my local retail space (for now) in Volo, Illinois, but I struggle with my arm in everyday life and wish they'd just give me an MRI to see what is happening inside.
I am trying to stay positive-I believe it is essential for healing.

My Etsy shop is staying afloat. I have re-listed what I could and have been selling something every week. Not bad for not promoting in a few months. Again, Positive thinking :)

So my confidence was shot down when I posted the freebie pattern of the Bears hat and someone from Ravelry commented about it. I feel bad that anyone would've struggled with the pattern the way I wrote it, yet I couldn't find an error-Did I make an error in the pattern?  It was my first pattern and I'm open to constructive critisism (not destructive)

My children know about my F-Bomb and have asked me to make a Bomb Bomb,  A Nintendo character.   That is next on my list and I feel should be pretty easy. I'm thinking I'll post the pattern when it's finished as a freebie.
I am writing a few more patterns that will be for sale in my Etsy shop, hopefully before summer.
Is there anything you'd like to see for free? Anything worth buying that isn't already out there?

Till next time, keep it real!
